Bachatero – Find Dance Socials Near You
Discover, connect, and dance. Bachatero helps you find your dance community across the globe and at home.
Our Mission
A map built by dancers, for dancers
Bachatero is a community-driven map of bachata, salsa, and other dance socials around the world. Instead of digging through scattered Facebook events, Instagram stories, and word of mouth, you can search one place to see what's happening near you or in the next city on your trip. Every venue, event, and social on the map is added by real dancers who wanted the search to be easier for the next person.
Whether you're a beginner looking for your first social or a seasoned dancer chasing the best floors on every continent, Bachatero helps you plan your next night out with confidence. Save your favorite venues, browse socials by city or country, and add the events you know about so other dancers can find them too. The more the community contributes, the more accurate and useful the map becomes for everyone.
No account is required to browse, but signing up lets you save venues, get updates on new socials in your favorite cities, and help keep the map current as events change. Bachatero is still growing, and every social you add makes it a little easier for the next dancer to find their floor.
Bachata, salsa, kizomba, and other dance communities exist in nearly every major city, but finding them as a traveler or a newcomer can be surprisingly hard. Local scenes often organize through private group chats, regional Facebook pages, or venues that don't have much of an online presence at all. Bachatero exists to close that gap by giving the global community one shared, searchable home for the socials they already know about, so finding your next dance floor takes minutes instead of hours of scrolling and asking around.
